Roads, highways and pavements

The trunk road network in Charnwood comprises the M1, A6 and A46. Highways England provides day to day management of these routes.

A similar service for other local roads and pathways is provided by Leicestershire County Council (LCC) who deliver front-line highways services under the name of Leicestershire Highways.

Reporting problems with roads and pavements

Visit the LCC website using the links below, where you will find contact details and online forms for reporting problems with Leicestershire roads, such as potholes, road spillages etc, and issues with pavements.

Street lighting

Leicestershire County Council are in charge of street lighting in the borough. If you wish to report a problem to do with street lighting you can do so via the Leicestershire County Council website by following the link below.
